Tribute to Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent

Blaby District Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent. Councillors and officers extend their heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this time of national mourning. 

Councillor Roy Denney, Chair of Blaby District Council said: "We send our sincere condolences to Royal Family following the death of The Duchess of Kent. The Duchess’ lifelong dedication to public service, her compassion for others, and her unwavering support for charitable causes have left a last legacy across the nation”. 

As a mark of respect, the flag at the Council offices will be flying at half-mast today.
