Food Waste Caddy Delivery
We're launching our new food waste collection service on 30 March 2026 with weekly collections on your normal collection day. To help you get ready we've been delivering caddy packs to all households.
Food waste collections will take place weekly on the same day as we collect your general waste and recycling.
What has been delivered?
If you live in a house we provide:
- A small (7-litre) kitchen caddy for depositing food waste indoors
- A starter roll of bags - an initial supply to keep your kitchen caddy clean
- A larger (23-litre) lockable outside food waste recycling caddy which we will empty every week
- An instruction leaflet with details of what food waste can be recycled to help get you started
If you live in a flat or apartment block with communal bins we provide:
- A small (7-litre) kitchen caddy for collecting waste indoors
- A starter roll of bags - an initial supply to keep your kitchen caddy clean
- An instruction leaflet with details of what food waste can be recycled to help get you started
- A 140-litre wheeled communal food waste bin located in the bin store for all households to use
