Park and Pay by Phone
PayByPhone is currently available at all car parks operated by Blaby District Council.
The system offers motorists an alternative means of payment to the existing pay and display machines by paying via your mobile phone from an account that accepts all major payment cards. Clear information on how the system works is displayed via signs within the participating car parks, which are:
- Weavers Court, Narborough
- Narborough Railway Station
- Leicester Road, Narborough
- Johns Court, Blaby
- Enderby Road, Blaby
Good reasons to choose Park and PayByPhone:
- No need to search for, or use the Pay and Display machine
- No need to worry about having the correct change
- No need to display a ticket in your vehicle
- Optional reminders sent to your phone with the expiry time of your parking session*
- No need to rush back to your vehicle - extend your parking session from your mobile*
- No service charge to use the service
Each location has its own unique location number to be quoted when paying.

Register for PayByPhone
It is best to register for PayByPhone before you first use it, you can also register when you park.
Register using one of the methods below:-
1) Register for PayByPhone online
2) Call 0116 228 0001 to register
3) Download the app to your device - available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry
PayByPhone service charges
There is no charge for each transaction.
There are other optional charges for additional message alerts, such as a reminder to extend your parking session, receipts. These cost 10p for each message.
The option for these can be changed in the default settings.
How to pay
Once you've registered, you can pay in a number of ways. If you don't have a smartphone you can call the automated payment line or text.
Mobile app
Download and register for PayByPhone on your device. Apps are available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices.
Mobile web
Visit the mobile web page. Log in, then enter your parking requirements
Call the automated payment line (Touch Tone)
1. Call the number 0116 228 0001 (also displayed on signage in the car park)
2. Respond to the prompts
3. Wait to hear that parking has started
You can use this method to register and pay for parking and extend existing sessions.
Text
1. Text 65565 with LOCATION (see the car park signage for LOCATION or the table above), DURATION (in hours) and the three digit security code from the back of the registered payment card
2. Wait for text confirmation that parking has started
You do not need a smartphone to pay by Touch Tone or text. The cost to use this method is your standard network charge.
