Blaby District Council is excited to announce the launch of a new Employment Job Club at their offices in Narborough. This initiative is designed to support Blaby District residents in their job search and career development.
The Job Club offers a range of services, including assistance with CV writing, interview preparation, and job searching strategies. Residents can also benefit from workshops and one-on-one sessions with employment advisors.
The club is open to all Blaby District residents, providing a welcoming space to gain valuable skills and connect with local employers. Whether you're looking for your first job or seeking new opportunities, the Employment Job Club is here to help you achieve your career goals, and being delivered in conjunction with the National Careers Service.

In 2025 we will be hosting 2 Job and Skills Fairs and the dates for those are the following:
- Wednesday 2 July
- Wednesday 24 September
All of the job fairs are hosted at the Council offices in Narborough between the hours of 3:00pm - 5:00pm. We also have a break-out room for those who may need a quieter space during the Job and Skills Fair.
How to find us
- If you're travelling by train, Cross Country trains run direct to Narborough Station, followed by a short walk to the council offices.
- By bus, the Arriva 50 route runs approximately every 20 minutes from Leicester to Desford Road, Narborough and then just a short walk to the Blaby District Council offices
- If you are coming by car, we have free visitor parking available at the offices. If you use Weaver Street car park you will need to pay and display a ticket.
