Problems Paying Business Rates
If you are struggling to pay your Business Rates, take action and contact us before things get worse. You may be able to get help if you are having difficulty.
Tips to help you stay out of debt:
- Sign up to pay by Direct Debit - it's the easiest way to pay
- Ask us to spread your bill over 12 monthly instalments
- See if you qualify for any reliefs or exemptions
Getting into debt means paying more
If you don't pay your Business Rates, you could end up paying much more. If we have to get a court summons to tell you to pay, it will cost you £72 on top of what you owe. Find out more information about Court Hearings on the Court Hearings and Liability Orders page.
