Annual Accounts

We prepare an annual statement of accounts to give electors, local taxpayers, members of the council and other interested parties clear information about our finances.

The statement summarises:

  • The cost of services we provide in the year
  • How those services were paid for
  • Our assets and liabilities at the year-end

The Accounts and Audit Regulations require the Council to publish its unaudited Statement of Accounts by 31 May following the end of the financial year, along with our draft Annual Governance Statement. The deadline for 2019/20 was deferred to 31st August 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those documents can be downloaded using the links below.

Copies of our accounts for previous financial years can be downloaded by following the links at the bottom of the page.

The register below shows the Council's assets as at 31st March 2017. It comprises a schedule with information on the type of asset (properties), the location - including the parish in which it is situated - and the current status of each asset.
