Information provided by you, including any supporting evidence you send to the Council in order to help process requests
for services will be held and used by Blaby District Council in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We may pass your information to other agencies or organisations as allowed or required by law.
We may also check the information you have provided with other information already held in departments in order to provide
you with the service or response you require.
We may ask other agencies, organisations, local authorities or government departments to give us any information they have
about you for the purposes of:-
- making sure information is accurate
- prevention and detection of crime
- protection of public funds.
Blaby District Council will not give information about you to anyone else, or use information about you for any other
purposes, unless the law allows us to.
