Council Tax
The Revenues Section is responsible for the billing and collection of Council Tax for more than 37,500 domestic properties
within the District. Annual bills are issued during March of each year and adjustment bills are issued throughout the year
reflecting changes in peoples circumstances.
A team of officers dedicated to dealing with Council Tax enquiries is based at the Council Offices in Narborough. Please
refer to the bottom of this page for contact information. Officers are also available for personal visits during normal office
hours and also deal with written correspondence
The purpose of this web page is to guide you through the issues which might affect the amount of Council Tax that a person
is liable to pay, and to assist with applying for reductions and exemptions from Council Tax. You can also use this page to
apply for payment by Direct Debit or simply to look for information on Council Tax.
The following pages also contain a number of application forms, which if completed online will help to speed up the processing
of claims and help to reduce costs such as postage.
