Hundreds of opportunities at Job Fair

Hundreds of roles at firms across the District and beyond are on offer at Blaby District Council's next Job Fair.
The event takes place at the Council offices on Wednesday 15 March 2023 from 3pm to 6pm.
Meet a whole range of employers, including the Council team and find out about the host of work opportunities available.
There will also be advice on training, apprenticeships, volunteering and further learning for those looking to change career, upskill or gain extra experience.
Among those organisations promoting vacancies are:
• Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust: join the Offender Health Directorate at HMP Fosse Way
• Freed of London Limited: full-time roles and trainee positions for those aged 16 and over
• Ellesmere College: seeking teaching assistants and cleaners
• Leicester Hilton: full and part-time roles
• Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust: full-time Community Hub Coordinators
• Help at Home: 20 full and part-time care posts
• Foxfields Academy Blaby: more than 25 roles
Also at the Job Fair will be bus company Midlands Arriva, Leicestershire County Council and Avon.
Offering job and training advice, work placement and volunteer opportunities will be Leicester Employment Hub, Royal Mencap Society, Independent Monitoring Board (IMB) for Fosse Way Prison, National Careers Service, Work and Skills Leicestershire, The Prince's Trust, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Leicester College and Voluntary Action Leicestershire (VAL).
