Council Tax online services will be unavailable between Saturday 8 May 4pm and Sunday 9 May 12pm due to essential maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Elections May 2021

The Leicestershire County Council elections, District Council by-election (Stanton and Flamville), Police and Crime Commissioner election and Neighbourhood Planning Referendum (Fosse Villages) are to be held on Thursday 6 May 2021.

We have been busy planning to ensure that you are able to cast your vote safely on poll day. Those attending a polling station on poll day with be asked to observe the Covid-19 government guidelines at the time and follow the advice from poll staff.

Signage will guide you through the station safely. Please remember to bring and wear your own face covering at all times (unless medically exempt). Remember to also bring your own pencil/pen to mark your ballot paper.

Polling Stations are open from 7am to 10pm on 6 May 2021. A list of polling stations are published on the notices below. You can also use our online Find My Polling Station search facility.

Leicestershire County Council elections

Information on Leicestershire County Council elections can be found on their website.

The election itself will be held on Thursday 6 May 2021.  The count will start on Friday 7 May at 11.30am.  The results will be published as soon as they are announced. 

Police and Crime Commissioner election
