Customer Services

Our priority is to respond to those with an urgent need, our Customer Services team will be prioritising phone and email contact. We are following government guidance on social distancing and in the interest of everyone’s health and safety we have closed the main council offices to the public and asking office staff to home-work where possible, there may be some temporary disruption to services during the switch over.

Waste collections

Our top priority is to continue delivering essential services to you at the same time as maintaining the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff.  The latest information about waste collections is available to view.

Public toilets - Blaby

The public toilets in Blaby have been closed until further notice

Car Parks

Parking Charges have been suspended at all Blaby District Council owned car parks in line with Government health advice to prevent the spread of coronavirus. You will NOT need to get a ticket to park in the car park.

All parking machines will be covered up. Please be aware that all other parking restrictions, for example, on-street bays will be in force. We would reiterate national advice to stay at home unless your journey is necessary.

Health and Leisure activities

Health and leisure physical activity programmes have been suspended, including Steady Steps and Fit to Dance.

Enderby Leisure Centre and the Pavilion (Huncote) Leisure Centre have been closed by Sports and Leisure Management (SLM) until further notice.  Please visit Everyone Active for more information.   The Urgent Care Centre at Enderby Leisure Centre remains open.

Our parks remain open to help residents exercise during the current restrictions, though usage is being monitored and we will close them if footfall is considered too high.  All play areas will be opening on Monday 20 July.
