Summary

The best way to apply for planning permission is to do it online through the Planning Portal (external link), but if you're unable to do so then you can download the printable application forms from here. All 25 application forms, plus guidance notes, can be downloaded by following the links below.

We have now switched to the new National Standard Planning Application Forms, so please make sure you use these forms from now on as we will not be able to accept applications on older versions of the application form.

Before sending your application, make sure you know all the relevant planning application fees, and you have completed a Design and Access Statement (if appropriate).
