About the holiday activities
The Pavilion is offering a varied and flexible holiday club full of action packed multi activities for children from the age of 5 years (or age 4 if attending school) up to 14 yr olds from 9am – 4pm with the option to use the early riser club 8am-9am and late leaver club 4pm-5pm. The holiday club is a registered provider with Ofsted which enables you to receive extra tax credits to help with the cost of your childcare.
Children can take advantage of trying out activities that previously they may not have experienced such as dodgeball, parachute games, kingball, fencing, badminton, table tennis and many more which are inclusive of the price. Some activities are such to parental consent.
There will also be cooking, arts and crafts, nature walks, orienteering and visists from the emergency services which will all be part of the fun for children to participate in.
The day is structured but we aim to give the children a variety of activities to choose from to enable a flexible approach to the day.
All activities are subject to terms and conditions and some will have limited places and will therefore be offered on a "first come, first served" basis.
Children will be required to bring a packed lunch but we ask parents to ensure that you do not allow your child(ren) to bring any form of nuts into the club whether it be in their lunch box or as a snack as other children attending may have serious nut allergies. Water will be available to children throughout the day and we kindly ask parents not to include glass bottles with packed lunches.
Can you please make sure that your child has a sunhat and sunscreen (it needs to be a sunscreen that your child can apply themselves) every day as when the weather is suitable we will make use of our outdoor facilities.
All staff employed on the scheme have an enhanced disclosure through the DBS.
