A Health and Wellbeing Day organised by the Blaby District Youth Council is being held to promote various services and activities on offer to young people aged 11-19.
Taking place on Sunday 24 September from 2-5pm at Enderby Leisure Centre, the event is a key priority for the Youth Council as they spread the message about health and wellbeing across the district.
Activities include sports taster sessions on offer at the Leisure Centre, circus skills and Enderby Dodgeball Club, one of the best dodgeball clubs in the country, who will be on hand to show off their fast-growing sport.
Public Health England and the NHS will be supporting the event, offering practical health advice with stop smoking guidance, dental health and sexual health services. Visitors can use the pedal powered Smoothie Bike to create their own fruit drink.
The event is free to everyone to attend and no booking is required. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0116 272 7718.
