Blaby District Council is consulting on its reviewed Statement of Licensing Policy
Under the Licensing Act 2003 ("the Act") this Licensing Authority is required to produce a Statement of Licensing Policy, which sets out how we have interpreted the Act and the basis on which decisions are to be made. This Policy must be reviewed every 5 years.
The policy is now due for review. Before determining its Policy, the Licensing Authority is required to consult with responsible authorities, persons/bodies representing local holders of licences, persons/bodies representing businesses and residents in the area and any other groups that the Licensing Authority considers appropriate. The reviewed policy is now formally published for public consultation and comment. The 6 week consultation period ends on 3rd August 2018.
Your views are important and we hope that you will consider the draft document. Anyone wishing to comment on the reviewed Policy can do so by sending a written response by hard copy marked Statement of Licensing Policy Consultation for the attention of The Licensing Section, Blaby District Council, Council Offices, Desford Road, Narborough, Leicestershire LE19 2EP or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
