Throughout the year Blaby District Council also seeks the views of residents, business owners, visitors and stakeholders on a range of topics. These consultations can be found below, followed by results and findings from selected consultations.
Gambling Act 2005 - Draft Statement of Principles 2019 - 2022
Under the Gambling Act 2005 the Licensing Authority is required to publish a Statement of Principles every three years, outlining the procedures it intends to follow in discharging its statutory responsibilities under the Act.
In accordance with that requirement the Licensing Authority has reviewed its current policy and has prepared a draft Statement of Principles. The revised policy is now formally published, from 12th October 2018 for public consultation and comment. The consultation period will end on 30th November 2018.
The draft policy can be viewed on our website using the link below. Your views are important and we hope that you will be able to consider the draft document and offer your comments.
Anyone wishing to comment on the draft policy can do so by sending a written response by post to The Licensing Team, Blaby District Council , Council Offices, Desford Road Narborough Leicester LE19 2EP or by email to email@example.com before the end of the consultation on 30th November 2018.
