New Street Trading Controls
- The new controls come fully into place on 1st April, 2012 and after this date it is an offence to undertake street trading within Blaby without the benefit of a consent. View the street trading controls page for more information.
Absent Vote Refresh 2012
- Anyone who has had a postal, proxy or postal proxy vote since January 2007 (which will shortly be over 5 years old) will be sent a new form at the end of January asking for a fresh specimen signature. This process is a legal requirement and if the electoral registration office does not receive your new signature within 6 weeks of the date of the notice your existing absent vote entitlement will be removed. Please sign and return the form as soon as possible as a reminder will be sent to you after 3 weeks. If you are no longer able to provide a consistent and distinctive signature please contact us on 0116 272 7560 for further information.
