Floods
In emergency dial the Emergency Services.
Blaby District Council is able to provide some assistance during flood events. The Council offers a service providing sand
bags. If you are threatened by floodwater contact the Council on 0116 2750555 or out of hours call 0870 238 5057.
For information about flood control products, including automatic air brick covers and barriers for doors, access the National
Flood Forum site. They have useful information too about a more modern replacement for sand bags which take up much less space.
