Blaby
District Council operates 21 surface car parks throughout the district providing some 825 parking spaces. The car parks are
administered by the Parking Services of the Council. Dedicated parking bays are provided in these car parks for persons holding
Disabled Parking badges. Below is a list of the car parks and their locations.

Motorists should be aware that with effect from 2nd February 2009 the Council will issue penalty notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 for contraventions of the District of Blaby (Off Street Parking Places) Replacement Order 2009.
Penalty levels are set for Higher level offences at £70, these include parking in a Disabled bay and parking an oversized vehicle. For Lower level offences, such as parking in excess of the maximum permitted period or parking other than wholly within a marked bay, the penalty is £50. All penalties paid within 14 days of issue are reduced by 50% to £35 or £25.
The maximum permitted vehicle size is 2 metres in height, 5 metres in length and 2 metres wide.

Two car parks
in Blaby centre have been awarded the Park Mark award showing that their design and operational management offers motorists
improved security and a reduced fear of crime. Two car parks benefit from CCTV surveillance and all but two of these car parks
have tarmac surfacing with all car parks conveniently situated for local amenities.
Car parks in Blaby itself are particularly well used and to ensure that there is a regular turnover of spaces, restricted waiting times are applied and a car park attendant enforces these regulations.
