considered at the 'Alternative Options' stage of the Core Strategy.

The attached material was presented to Blaby District Council by the promoting consultants. The presentations show preliminary ideas and outline principles that could, if agreed by the Council and following an Independent examination of the Core Strategy, contribute toward the development of the master plan for the chosen site.
At present, none of the Master Plans are the agreed policy of Blaby District Council. If, following the Independent Examination of the Core Strategy, a preferred site is identified as a suitable location for a Sustainable Urban Extension, a Master Plan (which involves Blaby District Council, the Community, potential developers and other stakeholders) would need to be prepared. This process would involve further public consultation.
The presentations indicate how the potential developers viewed the respective site constraints and possible responses, and some of the opportunities.
