Big Lottery Fund
This fund is the amalgamation of the New Opportunities Fund and the Community Fund. The Fund will have a number of funding
programmes aimed at assisting voluntary and community organisation.
Mandatory Rate Relief for Sports
Community or amateur sports clubs or organisations can now qualify for up to 80% mandatory property rate relief releasing
money for club development.
SHIRE Grants - Sports
Grants and loans can help voluntary groups and clubs, schools and small parish councils with costs of sport, recreation
and play projects.
Sports England
Sport England offers advice relating to funding for sports projects, and aims to raise levels of participation in sport. The
target is for 70% of the population to be reasonably active by 2020.
