The Sports Development team and Blaby Local Sports Alliance aim to have a co-ordinated approach to coach education. We work closely with Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport and Sports National Governing bodies to provide courses through out the district. Please click on the relevant links to see which course is right for you and when they are on.
Blaby Local Sports Alliance are providing Volunteer Coach Development Grants to encourage the development of volunteer sport and physical activity coaches and leaders within the District of Blaby.
The grants can be awarded for individuals wishing to develop their coaching and leadership skills in order to improve the quality of coaching in local clubs and organisations or to enable them to gain purposeful employment in the sport and leisure industry.
Grants will be considered to a maximum of £75 or 50% of the total costs of attending a sports coaching and leadership course as well as travel costs to and from the course venue. Download the Volunteer Coach Development Grant Criteria and Application form from above.
