Modern Apprenticeships
If you are aged between 16-19, we offer an opportunity to work with Blaby District Council on a Modern Apprenticeship work
based training scheme.
- Administration and clerical work
- Customer Services
- Information Technology
Training
You will be trained in a variety of skills by people you work with through a two year Modern Apprenticeship programme.
Qualifications
You will work towards a nationally recognised vocational qualification (NVQ), and in some cases this may lead to
specific semi-professional qualifications. This will be undertaken by one of our excellent training providers.
Experience
The hands-on experience you gain will put you in a good position to apply for permanent jobs both within and outside the Council.
Pay
A training allowance will be paid, subject to your age and experience. If you think we can help you or would like
