Sheltered Housing Schemes

Blaby District Council has a stock of over 1200 sheltered accommodation properties.  All of the sheltered stock comprises of bungalows and flats.  These types of properties are designed specifically for elderly and disabled people and combine good quality housing with security and the independence of your own front door .  For added peace of mind for tenants and family, all sheltered accommodation properties have emergency lifeline equipment installed which is staffed 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
