Mortgage difficulties
Summary
Falling
into mortgage arrears can make people feel frightened and vulnerable. Many homeowners have difficulty paying their mortgages,
often when they lose a job, split up with a partner or have unexpected expenses. Keeping up with your mortgage payments should
be your top financial priority or your home could be repossessed if payment problems continue. This doesn't happen automatically,
but the longer you delay, the more difficult it will become to control your arrears and avoid long-term debts.
