Housing nominations - information and advice
Summary
To help, support and advise those in need of housing to find solutions to their housing problems.
We try and find more permanent solutions to your housing needs. We will work with you to look at all your housing options. This may include:
- private sector renting
- mutual exchanges
- shared ownership
- advice on tenancy matters
- housing for the elderly.
This list is not exhaustive. If you want to find out more please contact us and make an appointment with one of our Housing Options Officers.
Further information
You can seek advice from us if you are over the age of 16.
We may need documentary proof which might include; proof of address, threat of legal proceedings, financial status and so on. The list is not exhaustive. We will only request relevant documentation.
We will try to achieve solutions for you in a realistic time scale. This may range from 24 hours to three months or longer depending on the nature of your housing problems.
