Mission and Purpose

To maximise opportunities for affordable, accessible, decent housing across all tenures and to provide high quality, customer focused services.

To enable effective delivery of this statement there are three generic objectives that underpin all service area objectives within the Division;

To provide an accessible, equitable, customer focused service.
To provide a service that is effective and efficient and offers value for money.
To work in partnership to maximise enhanced outcomes for all tenures.

Composition and Characteristics of the Service

The Housing Service currently operates in a traditional landlord environment, retaining a stock of 2,250 homes. It is responsible for the management and maintenance of this stock, and also provides an enabling and strategic role, seeking to maximise opportunities to increase the provision of affordable, decent homes across all tenures across the District.

Monday 8.45am to 5.15pm

Tuesday 8.45am to 5.15pm

Wednesday 9.30am to 5.15 pm

Thursday 8.45am to 5.15pm

Friday 8.45am to 4.45pm
