Black Lidded Wheeled Bin

This is for your household refuse and is normally emptied weekly.

Please do not put the following items in this bin:

• Garden waste (please use the Great Green Takeaway service)
• Paint (please use the Community Paintpot service)
• Builders rubble/materials
• Oil (please use the recycling bank facilities for this)

If you are unsure on what materials you are able to put into your refuse bin then please call (0116) 272 7555 for more information

Extra capacity is available by either renting a larger bin or purchasing special BDC purple refuse sacks - see link below.

The bin should be put out at the boundary of your property, next to the pavement or road, by 7.30am on collection day.
