Land Pollution

Councils have to assess their area to discover any land which may have become contaminated by industrial activities or waste disposal in the past. Our strategy for undertaking this work has been approved and can be viewed on the contaminated land web page.

Blaby District Council have recently revised and updated it's Contaminated Land Strategy, which was recently approved for consultation by Cabinet Executive. The revised text is shown in magenta and the original text is black. This document is open for consultation until 14th July 2006.
