                           and adviceOur parks and open spaces provide visual breaks in the built environment and contribute to the health of the local residents by creating clean and attractive environments that provide opportunities for a wide range of formal and informal leisure, sport, recreational and play for all ages, as well as offering other social benefits such as community cohesion, learning and development.

There are 11 countryside sites within the district, for further information see countryside – information and advice.

Primarily, the larger sites that offer equipped play areas and formal pitches are managed by the Parish/Town Councils.
