Electoral Services

Electoral Services is part of the Administration and Legal Services section.

The administration of elections for local, parliamentary and European parliamentary elections for Blaby District and the constituency of Blaby is carried out by the Returning Officer at Blaby District Council.

To be able to vote your name must appear on the Register of Electors, if you are not sure that you are registered then please contact the electoral services section who will be able to check for you.

If you are unable/or do not wish to attend the polling station then you may vote by post. To do this you need to complete the application to vote by post form. If you do not wish to vote by post for any reason then you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. If you wish to do this then you need to complete the application to vote by proxy form.
