Electoral Boundaries

For voting purposes there are electoral boundaries established by the Electoral Commission through the Boundary Committee.

Blaby District is split between 2 Parliamentary constituencies:
Kirby Muxloe, Glenfield & Leicester Forest East are part of the Charnwood constituency.
The rest of the District is part of the Blaby constituency.

For European Parliamentary elections Blaby District forms part of the East Midlands Region.

In relation to County Council and District Council elections the areas are called Division and Wards respectively.

The final boundaries are Parish boundaries and some parishes are also split into wards.
