                           and gulliesThe County Council is responsible for keeping clean and fully operational all roadside drains otherwise known as gullies. Blocked gullies can cause a hazard to highway users, particularly during periods of heavy rain. You can help us to keep the highway safe by reporting blocked gullies on our freephone Roadline number: 0800 62 62 03.

In accordance with the Civil Contingencies Act, Blaby District Council continues to work closely with our partner agencies, through a body known as the Local Resilience Forum. This forum is a multi-agency group committed to making Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland a safer place by ensuring that we and our partners can respond effectively when incidents do occur.

The purpose of the Local Resilience Forum is to ensure effective delivery of those duties under the Civil Contingencies Act that need to be developed in a multi-agency environment.
