Summary
If
you have more than one home, you will pay a reduced council tax on your second home and a full council tax on your main home.
How do I request a second home discount?
- Contact the Council Tax department by telephone, fax, or email where you will need to provide the following information:
- Address of the second home property
- Date of ownership
- Whether furnished or unfurnished
- Address of main residence
- Contact telephone number
Further information
If your second home is furnished you will be eligible for a 10% discount on the council tax for that property.
