Grove Park Commercial Centre Ltd

Grove Park Commercial Centre Limited (GPCC) is the developer of Grove Park, a prestigious business park adjacent to junction 21 of the M1 motorway in the heart of Blaby District and within walking distance of Fosse Shopping Park.

Part of the Penman Group of Companies, GPCC has been responsible for original design and development work at Grove Park, including provision of an attractive lake which has proved popular with many varieties of birds, but also functional, acting as a balancing facility to relieve pressure on the nearby River Soar.

Over the past decade or so, substantial building works have been carried out with provision of offices and warehouses, occupiers include British Gas, HSBC & RBS banks, Sytner, NHS, Topps Tiles and ESPO.

The site enjoys excellent landscaping and has substantial parking facilities for staff employed on site. The opening of the adjacent Park & Ride is an added benefit with employees being able to travel from the city centre to a dedicated stop in the Park and return after work using this facility.

The development is well advanced, with only some 10 acres remaining, with Design and Build opportunities for offices ranging from 186 sq.m (2,000 sq.ft) to 9290 sq.m (150,000 sq.ft) available.

GPCC has been a main sponsor of the Outstanding Achievement Awards since they began and is proud to be associated with the fine works not only of Blaby District Council, but also of its citizens that are recognised through the awards process.

Fosse Shopping Park

Fosse Shopping Park is one of the most successful retail parks in the country, sitting in Blaby District and with an enviable position just off J21 of the M1. Fosse Park attracts visitors from a wide geographic area, stretching across all of our neighbouring counties, but also has a strong, loyal local customer base. Free parking and late night opening are another two reasons why customers make Fosse Park their destination shopping area of choice.

Fosse Park takes the safety of all its customers very seriously and it therefore seems appropriate that they sponsor the making the district a safer place award. Sitting at the heart of Blaby district it is proud of the part it plays within the Blaby District Community Safety Partnership. Centre Director Kathy Murdoch says:
