Summary
The Licensing
Act 2003 gives the Licensing Authority responsibilities relating to the licensing of alcohol (including registered members
clubs), regulated entertainment (including plays and films), live music and discos, indoor sporting events, the provision
of late night refreshment and other licensable activities.

Following the introduction of this Act Cinema Licences were replaced with Premises Licences/Club Premise Certificates and Temporary Event Notices.
