LDF - evidence base - urban capacity study
Summary
An Urban Capacity Study (UCS) was completed in May 2006. The study will form part of the LDF evidence
base. The study considers the potential to accommodate development on vacant and previously used land within the ‘settlement
boundaries’ of the larger towns and villages within Blaby District.

Further information
Blaby District Council commissioned Landmark Planning to carry out an Urban Capacity Study within the District. The study aimed to identify the potential to accommodate housing development on brownfield land within the district between 2006 and 2016. The findings of the UCS will be part of the Council’s Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.
