LDF - evidence base - housing needs and market study
Summary
A Housing Needs and Market Study was (HNS) was produced in July 2005. The study will form part of
the LDF evidence base. The study considers the demand and need for housing in the District of Blaby, and in particular the
need for affordable housing. Some parts of the HNS will be updated and superseded by the Strategic Housing Market Assessment
(SHMA).

Blaby District Council commissioned Fordham Research to carry out a Housing Needs and Market Study of the District in July 2005. The study aimed to identify housing needs and requirements that would help inform the Council's planning policies and housing strategy.
