Further information
Flood risk is a key consideration when developing effective spatial planning policies. In order to assess these risks Blaby District Council, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and Oadby & Wigston Borough Council jointly commissioned JBA consultants to carry out a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment for the District. The study aimed to provide information to steer potential future development away from areas at risk of flooding.
