Summary
An Employment Land and Premises Study (ELPS) was completed in March 2006. The study will form part of the LDF evidence
base. The study examines the supply of, and demand for, employment land and premises in the District of Blaby, both in terms
of quality and quantity. The report sets out the likely need for employment land in the District up to 2016.

Consultants BE Group completed an Employment Land and Premises Study of the District of Blaby in March 2006. The study aimed to inform the Council's planning and economic development policies including the potential need for employment sites in the District. A later Strategic Employment Land Study (which covered the Housing Market Area of Leicester and Leicestershire) was carried out by PACEC in October 2008.
