There was a referendum regarding the Blaby Neighbourhood Plan on 1st February 2018 (in the Blaby Parish voting area). Poll cards were sent to all eligible electors in the Blaby Parish voting area in early January 2018. The last date for registration was Tuesday 16 January 2018.
The question to be asked in the referendum was:
“Do you want Blaby District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Blaby to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
Deadlines for Postal and Proxy voting
Postal Votes were sent out on 18 January 2018 (the deadline to apply to vote by post for this referendum was 5pm on 17 January 2018). Information and advice about voting by post is available on the Postal Vote page.
The deadline to apply to vote by proxy was 5pm on 24 January 2018 (except for emergency proxy voting - please call or email for further information). For information on voting by proxy please refer to the Proxy Voting page.

Deadline for the Appointment of Poll and Count Observers
Registered campaign groups may request to appoint poll and/or count observers. These requests should be received by the Counting Officer at the Council Offices, Narborough by the deadline of Thursday 25 January 2018.
